Call charges and customer service

Online Shop customer service is open daily between 9am-6pm at +358408776799. Customer service helps with questions to do with ordering and products. Customer service does not take orders.

Calling to Online Shop Customer Service costs normal mobile/landline charge. Contact your call operator for the additional information about the call charges.

Product returns

Product and order return details:

Excluding food, the other perishable products, as well as other traditionally non-returnable and non-exchangeable products, e-commerce products have a 14 day return policy, which may not apply if the product has been used. In case if the package seal is broken, CDs, cassettes and DVDs are non-returnable. Products are returned to the address given above. In order to get a refund, customer contact information and bank account details need to be included in the return. Product return costs are paid by the customer.

A product defect warranty applies to all other products except event ticket products (unless Online Shop service provider is at fault). The return must be included with customer contact details and a report about the product defect. When making a return, contact us by phone or by email. In case if a return is made without contacting us first, the return must be included with a written return notification and needed contact and bank account details.

Online shop order confirmation

Orders are always confirmed by the service provider. An order confirmation is sent to the customer's email address. The service provider is in no way responsible for any unconfirmed orders.

An automatically sent email message which confirms that your order has been received does not qualify as the order confirmation message. All online shop orders are confirmed within three working days from the order with a separate order confirmation email.

Payment methods (private customers)

Tea Shop Veiström does not round cash or card payments (in euro) and uses 1 and 2 cent euro-coins. Product prices and your change will not be rounded to the closest 0,05 or 0,1 euro.

by mail:

  • bank transfer (delivery after the merchant has received the payment)
  • PayPal transaction (Visa, Amex and Master Card, PayPal account transfer)
  • cash on delivery (payment is made when the order is collected)
  • bitcoin (digital currency)
  • invoice (14 days net, a permanent address in Finland is required)*

*same customer may have simultaneously one(1) unpaid order with the invoice as the payment method. If the customer has an overdued invoice or already one unpaid order that have the invoice as the choosen payment medhod, sales service will contact the customer and request another payment method.

when collected from our office:

  • cash payment
  • bank transfer (show receipt or other proof of transaction)
  • card payment (Visa, Amex and MasterCard)

Delivery charges

A delivery cost is added to the order. The cost is subject to the weight and size of the order and the delivery method used. The delivery costs are shown when making an order in the online shop.

Underage customers

The online shop is meant only for adults. A customer under the age of 18 must notify her/his underage status when placing an order (use the free text field for the notification).

In order for the purchase to go ahead, underage customers need to provide a permission notification signed by the parent/guardian of the customer.

Underage customers must notify their age status after which they are provided with a order permission form. The service provider is in no way responsible for or any possible order costs caused by an unauthorised order.

Delivery time

Orders are delivered as soon as possible, but within 30 days after placing the order. However, the service provider reserves the right to make the delivery within 60 days after placing the order, or cancel the deal with regards to the product(s) ordered

Products

You may order products that have not yet been released or are out of stock (in these cases the products will be delivered as soon as possible). Usually we are able to deliver products on the day of their release. The release dates can be viewed in our product pages.

The release dates are importer's estimations and may change. If needed, we will update the release dates. In the case if you place a pre-order with an order for products in stock, notify us whether you want both orders to be delivered at the same time or separately.

The final prize of an order is shown in the order confirmation message. The service provided reserves the full right not to deliver an order in which case the payment is returned to the customer. In this case, the service provider will also cover possible cancellation/delivery costs.

Cancellation of order and product returns

Event ticket products are non-refundable unless the event in question is cancelled. All other products are subject to the consumer protection act which states that customers have 14 days to cancel a deal, excluding food, the other perishable products, as well as other traditionally non-returnable and non-exchangeable products. In order to cancel a deal, customers need to notify service provider about the cancellation or return the product(s) within 14 days. A return made by mail is sent to the address given above. If the package seal is broken, CDs, cassettes and DVDs are non-refundable/non-returnable.

Orders that have not yet been delivered may be cancelled by notifying us (contact information found above). Be sure to give the customer details and specify which order you are cancelling. If the order has already been paid, include needed contact and bank account details as well. We may reimburse another order with the prize of the returned product(s) or provide a voucher to the shop. Customers with a business ID have the right to returns only in the case is the product(s) has a quality defect or the order has been mishandled.

The service provider is not responsible for any charges caused by the use of the product, other than those required by law. All compensation claims are to be directed at the product manufacturer (you can get manufacturer contact information from our customer service). Product cancellation and return refunds are paid to the customer's bank account, except in cases when the product has been collected from our office and paid in cash.

Use of customer details

The service provider reserves the right to save customer details into a secure client register. No third parties have access to the register. The service provider may, however, use the information in its direct marketing, for instance, to send customers information on new products and services.

Online shop security

All customer details are strictly confidential and are not given out to third parties. Order details are saved in a secure electronic database. Apart from the actual payment transaction, no other payment information is transmitted to the online shop or the recipient.

We ask customers to notify the general instructions provided by online bank services with regards to making online payments. Customers should be alert and only use verified services when making payments in an online environment. Do not give out your personal details to a suspicious service.
